Scariff Community College
Scariff Community College, a second level school catering for 310 boys and girls grew out of the amalgamation in 1968 of the Sacred Heart Secondary School and the Vocational School. The Vocational School had been founded in 1941 as a Clare VEC school. The College stands on 20 acres of beautifully wooded grounds located in a rural setting close to Lough Derg and offering the most modern facilities to its students.
