In line with the overall provision and implementation of its policies and services, Clare V.E.C. undertakes to facilitate, encourage and support the ongoing professional training and development of its entire staff team.
County Clare Vocational Education Committee is made up of 20 members who meet each month except August, the venue for the meeting is rotated between the schools, centres and head office.
The Vocational Education Committee offers a broad educational service throughout County Clare.
The Scheme currently has in excess of 600 employees including permanent wholetime, pro rata contracts and part-time staff.
Included in this group of employees are teachers, administrative staff, caretaking and cleaning staff and instructors in outdoor pursuits.
