 Co Clare VEC’s mission statement has been revised as follows…

The mission of Clare VEC is to deliver a range of educational programmes and supports to learners attending our schools and centres.  Our service changes in response to learner need and is based on the values of respect, equality, excellence, inclusion, caring and trust.

From its Headoffice base at Station Road in Ennis, the following services are co-ordinated:-

Administration of Day Schools / Colleges / Centres – (Payroll and Accounts)
Gaelcholaiste an Chlair (Irish second level school)
Processing Third Level Grants / Scholarships and Post Leaving Cert Course grants
In-Service Training for staff
External Training Courses
Co-ordination of the School Transport Scheme for all Clare second level schools
St. Joseph's Education Centre (Senior Traveller Training Centre)
Community Education
Outdoor Education
Youth Club Grants scheme
Youthreach and V.T.O.S. administration
Adult Education
Education provision for Maoin Cheoil an Chláir (Clare Music Education Centre)
